Fórum Permanente and SISEM-SP launch commemorative e-book on Eleven Years of the The State of São Paulo's Annual Museum Conference (happening since 2009)

On July 7th, at 15h, the e-book " Reflexive Overviews - The State of São Paulo's Annual  Museum Conference  11 years of Refelections and Discussions " will be launched in a live held on Youtube, by the State System of Museums of São Paulo (SISEM-SP), instance of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the State of São Paulo and Fórum Permanente. Concepts, policies, networks, actions, public and memory will be addressed within the context of the largest event of the museum sector in São Paulo.

The virtual chat will have the participation of the responsible for the graphic design of the e-book, Arthur Lauriano do Carmo, of Martin Grossmann and Diogo de Moraes Silva, who compose, together with Diego de Kerchove, the team of Fórum Permanente responsible for the editorial organization, of Angelica Fabbri, executive director of Acam Portinari and of Davidson Kaseker, director of the Technical Group of Coordination of the State System of Museums (GTC/SISEM-SP).

The State of São Paulo's Annual Museum Conference (EPM) had its first edition in 2009 and was held annually, with the aim of putting into practice the SISEM-SP goals of disseminating and sharing information among the nearly 500 museums that make up the museums of the State. All the activities proposed in the event allowed the exchange of knowledge and the constitution of a solid base of tools for the professionalization of museums and their teams.

The e-book proposed by Fórum Permanente to SISEM-SP and Acam Portinari in early 2018, features texts by the main characters involved in more than a decade of building and maintaining a public policy focused on museums in the state. It also features a selection of critical reports produced for each edition, as well as a retrospective critical report on the main panels and developments generated by each EPM, among other unpublished materials.
