Watari Museum of Contemporary Art and Lina Bo Bardi_Tokyo

A private museum opened in 1990, designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta. The idea is to nurture contemporary art in Japan on an international stage. Functioning as a space for cultivating one-of-a-kind and new voices in the art world. Showcases modern art across a range of mediums, including sculpture, photography, and industrial design. Past exhibitions have featured works by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Yayoi Kusama and Lina Bo Bardi —Italian-born Brazilian modernist architect who's work was on show by the time of the visit. | Photos by Martin Grossmann, March 2016 | URL: http://www.watarium.co.jp/
