Join us this Saturday at 3pm for a special preview tour of Close Encounters with curators Don Russell and Niels Van Tomme and featured artists Ligorano/Reese, The Beehive Collective, Jon Winet, The Floating Lab Collective and Jefferson Pinder.
'Close Encounters' is organized by Provisions Library and part of BrushFire, a national arts initiative focusing on social activist art in the crucial run-up to the November elections. BrushFire is sponsored by the CrossCurrents Foundation with additional support from the Creative Communities Fund of The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region, The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation, The Humanities Council for Washington DC, The Nathan Cummings Foundation and The Tides Foundation.
