Overview
The Artist In Residence Program (AIR)

For periods of 3 or 6 months residents are provided with living accommodation, a studio and - during the last month of their stay - a well-publicized solo exhibition. During the residency Raid facilitates residents to establish working professional links in the flourishing LA art world and to bring curators, critics and collectors to see the solo show privately.

AIR's resident artists are predominantly international, but we also host US artists whose projects are suitable to a LA residency. The residency fee is $1400US per month. As this program has a proven track record Raid can facilitate artist's funding applications in their own countries, in tandem with their counties LA-based consulate representatives. Please note, upon acceptance into the program, it is up to the artist to secure their space by providing a non-refundable deposit of the first months rent ($1400US). This is the only way to cement the dates you wish to have.

What you can expect from the Artist In Residency Program:

To provide the artist with an environment that is condusive to a creative working experience.

To respond in a timely manner to an artists questions and concerns

To provide the artist upon their arrival with rooms that are clean and orderly.

To always be respectful of the artists space.

To conduct regular critique discussions to support the artists developing project.
