EVA 2014 Artists and AGITATIONISM announced

EVA International is delighted to announce that EVA 2014 curated by Bassam El Baroni is entitled AGITATIONISM and features works by 56 Irish and International artists:

IMMA | Irish Museum of Modern Art

The full programme for EVA 2014 AGITATIONISM will be launched at IMMA | Irish Museum of Modern Art on Friday 21 March from 7 – 9pm. As part of the launch Nástio Mosquito, who is undertaking a residency at IMMA in the lead up to EVA 2014, will premiere a new performance that responds to the question "can art do anything?"

Symposium: It Makes us Think of a Dance and a Fête as Much as of War (On Violence)

On Saturday 22 March EVA presents It Makes us Think of a Dance and a Fête as Much as of War (On Violence), 12 – 7pm at IMMA | Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin. This is the third and final part of Artistic Justice: Positions on the Place of Justice in Art, a series of three international symposia supported by the Anna Lindh Foundation leading towards EVA 2014 AGITATIONISM that opens in Limerick in April. This symposium is curated by Doreen Mende at the invitation of EVA 2014 curator, Bassam El Baroni.
